Independence Day!

I absolutely LOVE this time of year. The fireworks, parades, sunshine, swimming, and the wonderful patriotic feeling that is in the air.

The week before the fourth of July we headed to Pleasant View to celebrate its Founder's Day. We played in the yard: Bocce Ball, Croquet, Basketball, and enjoyed a fabulous firework show that the city put on. It was so fun to see everybody (we were all together for the first time since Christmas).

We watched the fireworks in the football stadium and enjoyed the music played by a local band.

Mike and Tanner enjoying the music.

Lisa and the Mama.

Alexis had a blue tongue from her blue slushy Grandpa bought her.

The whole group. (It's so hard to get family pics and unfortunately Brigs had reached his limit... but the rest of us are lookin' cute :)

For the Fourth we headed to Star Valley. We woke up that morning and went to a golf cart parade where everyone decorates their golf carts in fun patriotic ways. After that we headed to the local park where the kids (and Mike and Rob) participated in little competitions (i.e. balloon toss, egg toss, potato sack races, foot races, etc.) Everyone that participated got a ribbon! We loved hanging out at the cabin where everyone was together for the first time in a while. We read books, watched movies, played games, and tried to keep the kids somewhat under control.

The grand kids (minus Ashley's kids) on the morning of the 4th.

Kaden holding Tanner, and Jack. They are good buddies with Tanner :)!

Enjoying the Parade.

Caleb was so excited about his ribbon that he got. He called it his "winner".

Mike and Rob were excited about their "winners" too. They competed in the balloon toss and tied for 1st place! Congratulations Rob and Mike!

The kids being wild in the "Ruckus Room" (as Grandpa calls it).
POSE! They take that command seriously!

Pose again!

And pose AGAIN!

We had a WONDERFUL Founder's Day and 4th of July!

Digital Scrapbooking!

So I've been exploring the world of digital scrapbooking! Here are some of my pages so far:

June Update!

In June we started off the month by going to the air show at Hill Air Force Base. SO FUN! I think those pilots are amazing! And the highlight, of course, is the THUNDERBIRDS! The next day we blessed Tanner. It was so fun to get together for this special day. Then we trecked to West Yellowstone for a summer VACAY! We stayed at a cabin on Hebken Lake (Thanks to my brother-in-law Dave) and it was BEAUTIFUL! We saw Buffalo, Deer, Elk, (and yes) A BEAR! A little bear ran across the road about 100 ft. in front of Mike and I's car and we were driving home. We drove straight to Brigham City from Yellowstone to celebrate Grandpa Hansen's 90th birthday! We've had a fun month so far!

Here are some pics from June:
