Last weekend I had my first baby shower! It was combined with my sister-in-law who just had a baby girl yesterday! We had so much fun and my sisters and mom were the cutest hostesses. They decorated so cute with pink and blue! One of my favorites was the diaper cakes that Lisa made.
The BLUE table (for my baby boy)
The baby boy diaper cake with Bandit the Horse on top.
The PINK girl table (for Seve's baby)
The baby girl diaper cake with Jillian the Giraffe on top.
After the shower my sister Sarah let me try out my new camera for fun and take some pics of her cute family. It was a bad time of day to attempt it so the sun was so harsh, but we got a few good ones! Here are some of my favorite shots. (Thanks Sars!)

Going Private!
So I've been thinking a lot about protecting my blog more and I just haven't done it because it seems like a hassle, but with our family growing I think this is the best thing to do, so here we go! I am going to make my blog private! So if you want to follow my blog and read what we're up to please post your email as a comment! I've made it so that others can't read the comments until I approve and then I will just delete your comment, so don't worry, your email will not be out there for all to see. Thanks everybody!

Happy New Year!
For the New Year we headed to the cabin with Adam, Erin, and their three kids. It was so fun to relax and just hang out together. We got snowed on, Mike pulled the kids on the tube behind the 4-wheeler, and we even saw two moose hanging out across the street (cool!), deer in the yard, and elk (at the elk refuge). What a fun weekend and a great start to the new year. We are so excited for our little one (only 3 more months!) and just for more adventures to come our way. Happy New Year!

Christmas Fun!
My sis did a post of Christmas Faces and I loved it so here are some more Christmas Faces!!

We had a fantastic Christmas with my family and EVERYONE was there. On Christmas Eve we had a scrumptious dinner complete with Dad's famous Christmas punch (yum). We then did the annual program (when we were little we would act out the nativity, but there aren't enough grand kids to do that yet so we each just do our own little presentation). Mike and I read a story that I wrote and illustrated called "The Smallest Tree". My brother Mike and Seve sang an interactive 12 days of Christmas complete with actions. Ems and Shaun didn't make it for the program because they were driving all Christmas Eve (they hadn't planned on coming but Shaun's grandpa passed. We were sad to here about his grandpa, but glad to have them there for Christmas day). Sarah and Dave did their homemade chimes (made out of pipe!). And Lisa and Greg had their puppets Molly the cow and Herr the Hippo sing "White Christmas" by The Drifters. My mom and dad also did their part with a sing-a-long to a fun Christmas song where we all had our own part. We then put out cookies for Santa and went to bed.
Christmas morning we found that Santa came (we must have all been good this year). There were even a couple of presents under the tree for our little man! It also brought fun and laughter and SNOW! It was so fun to be all together! It brought back fun memories of Christmas as a little one. I love my family and always enjoy every second I get to spend with them.
Here are some pictures of the snow we got.
