Cabin Fun.

This last weekend we went to Star Valley, Wyoming for a quick getaway. We went up Friday afternoon and then woke up early Sunday morning at 5:30 to make it back to Utah for my niece Eliza's baby blessing. We hung out at the cabin with Adam, Erin, and kids. We got snowed on, played games, went sledding, and watched movies. It was totally worth the quick trip! We then went to Sarah's ward on Sunday for Eliza's baby blessing. We had a yummy lunch at her house afterward. It was so fun to spend time with family this weekend.

Tanner loves carrots!

We had to make Tanner some snow pants. I haven't bought him any because he is so small I didn't think it would be worth the money. We wrapped him in a vest and then used tape to seal the holes and hold it in place... Poor thing! He's probably thinking we've gone nuts!

Tanner didn't know what to think of the snow. He cried after about 5 minutes and was doing his sign for "all done".
We went in and he took a nap and went out later on that day. Mike pulled Tanner and I on the sled behind the 4-wheeler. He had no expression the whole time...
I talked Mike and Adam into playing a game with me. I LOVE playing games. Tanner played with all the cool toys that were at the cabin.

Home Sweet Home

I am finally getting around to posting pictures of our new house. Perhaps it's because I finally got it clean enough for two seconds to take some picures :) We moved in November to Hyrum. We are LOVING it here. Our ward is great and the street we live on is all young families with lots of kids running around! Here is the picture tour of our casa.

New Year, New Haircut!

Mike and I have enjoyed the new year so far. It has been relaxing after being so busy in December! We actually have been able to spend the last few Saturdays at home where we can get projects done and just have fun together as a family.

Last week I gave Tanner a haircut. He looks pretty stylin'! The hair was growing over his ears so it was time. I feel like he looks older! He is growing so fast and belive it or not he will be one in two more months! He walks around on the furniture and climbs over anything in his way. He does "Patty-Cake" and will practice it un-prompted throughout the day. He can do the whole thing by himself. Pretty cute. Some of his favorite things to do are read books, play "tent" with Mommy and Daddy (you put the blanket over your heads and make a tent), play with his new toys he got for Christmas, and take a bath! Lately he has been standing at the deck door and licking it. He can see his reflection in the glass and waves to himself. Silly boy!

Christmas

We had a fun Christmas! We spent a few days in Burley (where we spent Christmas morning). We went on a drive to see lights, had a fabulous Christmas dinner, ate way too many delicious goodies, played Wii, and even went skiing (the first time Mike and I had ever been together). For New Years we trecked to Pleasant View and brought in the New Year by playing games and again eating way too many goodies. We built a snowman in the front yard and sledded down the driveway! How fun! More pictures to come...

Christmas Eve. Tanner made his Nativity pagent debut by playing a sheep.
