June Update!

In June we started off the month by going to the air show at Hill Air Force Base. SO FUN! I think those pilots are amazing! And the highlight, of course, is the THUNDERBIRDS! The next day we blessed Tanner. It was so fun to get together for this special day. Then we trecked to West Yellowstone for a summer VACAY! We stayed at a cabin on Hebken Lake (Thanks to my brother-in-law Dave) and it was BEAUTIFUL! We saw Buffalo, Deer, Elk, (and yes) A BEAR! A little bear ran across the road about 100 ft. in front of Mike and I's car and we were driving home. We drove straight to Brigham City from Yellowstone to celebrate Grandpa Hansen's 90th birthday! We've had a fun month so far!

May Update!

I have been a slacker lately on blogging and I feel like so much has happened! So we'll try to get in all in in two blogs: A May Update and a June Update.

In May for Mother's day we trecked to Burley and went to Twin Falls to see the AMAZING Shoshone Falls. They were Raging!! That next week my sister Emily and Alexis came from Nebraska. It was so fun to spend time with them! We rode the Frontrunner to Salt Lake one day and Brigs and Alexis were so excited about the big train! Tanner just slept the whole time (which was nice for me). We also moved in May! We sold our condo and moved to an apartment in Providence for the time being.

Oh So Comfortable!

So Tanner sleeps the best in his car seat. He loves it! So usually I will just lay a blanket over the straps and lay him in it to sleep (I think he likes the incline or something). Well...I don't know if I can do that anymore because he is getting more mobile...

This is how he was sleeping this morning when I went in to check on him...

 

He had kicked his blanket off him, turned on his side, and curled up in the bottom part of his car seat! He was totally zonked! What a silly boy! It's funny how kids sometimes find the weirdest positions to sleep in, yet they look like they're so comfortable somehow...

He's Arrived!!

Tanner joined our family on St. Patricks day (March 17th)! He weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long. We are having so much fun with our new little boy! Mike says that he is the coolest "toy" he has ever gotten. I agree!
